CAD IT was founded in Verona, Italy, in 1977 by a group of analysts and programmers, and is now one of Italy’s leading suppliers of integrated systems to the banking community. CAD has been recognized by the European Union as one of the most innovative software companies in Europe. CAD has been a Dynasty customer for a number of years, and has more than 70 Italian banking clients, including some of the largest banks in Europe.

The SIBAC application encompasses functions associated with retail and wholesale banking from foreign exchange through to settlement and statutory reporting. Because the product has been constructed using DYNASTY as the underlying technology, it is able to be delivered as individual components or the entire application on a wide range of operating systems, hardware platforms and databases. The components were designed from the outset to take account of multiple currencies, including the Euro, and also support multiple language capabilities.

SIBAC has been a substantial multi-million dollar investment representing a new core banking integrated product delivery strategy. The full suite is currently operational at the Istituto di Credito di San Marino (ICS), which fulfils a commercial as well as a central banking function for the Republic of San Marino.
