EPOS is a software house that has been based in Paris since the 1970s. Its highly skilled consultants have developed systems as diverse as car rental management, bulk shipping tracking, documentation archival and retrieval, and the SOS Médecins medical emergencies call center system developed with the assistance of Dynasty Professional Services. Currently, the SOS system manages the emergency call centers of 40 cities in France, serving more than 500,000 emergency calls per year in Paris alone. The call centers are managed in each city independently, automating the process of notifying doctors on call that their medical services are needed and assigning them patients.

At the European Health Care event (EUROSALUTE) held in Milan during October 11-14 2000, the system was presented to the public. Mr. Gérard Bedarida, President of EPOS declared that "The system has received very important and concrete feedback from private and public institutions. The experience gathered during several years of working in this market has been welcome and is being recognized as important value to target this specific health care market."
